Bihar National College (popularly known B.N College) was established in the year 1889. It is a constituent unit of Patna University, situated in Patna, which is the capital and biggest city of the state of Bihar in India. The college is accredited with grade “B++” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). B.N College has four departments namely Science, Language, Social Science and Vocational courses. All the faculty members are well-qualified with more than five years of teaching experience. The college provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different specializations including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Geography, History, Economics, Poly-Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Statistics, Business Administration, Computer Application, Biotechnology and Gemmology.
